Dear Renate,

I want to pass on my sincerest condolences again. A dark cloud descended on our family the day we heard Rainer had passed. He knew me since I was a child and I will always remember both of your kindness when I stayed for 2 weeks in Hamburg. I wouldn't have been able to get into medical school without that trip! Thank you so much. My fondest memory of Rainer was when he zoomed me around Hamburg in his convertible sports car. He was such a fun and vivacious man. Know that all of the Stokholms will miss him deeply.
